You spin the story in a way that the US escalated the conflict by allowing US munitions to be fired into Russia.

However that's not an escalation as Russia is already using all kinds of ammo within Ukraine. Ammo it got from Iran and possibly North Korea and even China (component-wise).

If you hit me in the face then me hitting you back the same way is not escalation.
