Thank you for your thoughts on API design! While I see the benefits of your proposed pattern and a similarity to GraphQL in some ways, I think the "market" will take care of REST and Graphql and everything inbetween. While REST will not be adopted like it was before, there is still good reason to use it and while GraphQL poses easier adoption for frontend developers (besides other things) it's not a best-fit for everything as well. We have options and, kudos, you just added another. Now let's see what the market does.
