I agree with some things you mention and with some I don't. Go needs a different approach to solving every-day problems and a lot of causes for frustration are stemming from the fact that people use it for things it wasn't designed for in a way it wasn't meant to be used in.

The happy path in Go is indeed very bright and happy, but leave the path you shall not for the night dark and full of terrors.
